The 14U Oaklandon Bombers (Indianapolis) have ongoing private tryouts for one roster spot. We are looking for a player with the potential to contribute at the AAA level. The player must be in eighth grade for the 2025-26 school year.

We are not simply a community based team. We have players from five different school districts.

Our philosophy:

We are committed to developing our players. Every team says that, but we can prove it. All the players on our 10U Bombers team except one are still on our 13U team. We went from single A as a 10U team to AAA as a 13U team with the same group of players that we developed over the past four years. Most teams improve by cutting their weak players and replacing them with stronger players. That’s fine, but we do things differently. We develop what we have.

This is our first open roster spot in three years. The opening is due to a family moving out of state and a player choosing to prioritize a different sport.

What we offer:

• Four full time coaches including three current or former high school baseball coaches.
• Professional one-on-one evaluations and individualized development plans for our players by Jason Taulman (pitching) and Johnny Goldfinger (batting).
• Clinics on secondary pitches, the mental game (Heads Up Baseball), and college recruiting.
• Training in small groups (one to three players) for more individual attention and quality repetitions.
• Outdoor practice on a full-sized baseball field and indoor training during the winter.
• An emphasis on preparation for high school baseball.
• Very affordable team fees ($1,050).
• A welcoming group of families and zero drama.

Our future:

We have an open invitation to join the Indy Sharks baseball program where we will have resources to better prepare our players on high school teams, choose the right tournaments for exposure, and help players with college recruiting. We will join the Sharks for 15U.

High school representation:

The Indiana High School Athletic Association only allows five players from the same high school baseball program to participate on the same club team during the school year. Our current players plan to go to the following high schools:

• Heritage Christian (1 or 2 player)
• Lawrence North (2 or 3 players)
• Mount Vernon (1 player)
• North Central (1 player)
• Pendleton (2 players)
