The 14U Oaklandon Bombers AAA (Indianapolis) are moving to the Indy Sharks for the 2027 year. We will have at least three open roster spots.
We are looking for players who can consistently contribute at an elite level (equivalent to AAA and Major at 14U) and are willing to put in the time and effort to get even better.

We are committed to developing our players and maintaining a culture that families want to be a part of. Every team says that, but we can prove it. All the players on our 10U Bombers team except two are still on our 14U team (one moved out of state and the other decided to prioritize a different sport). We went from single A as a 10U team to AAA as a 13U team with the same group of players that we developed over four years. Most teams improve by cutting their weak players and replacing them with stronger players. That’s fine, but we do things differently. We develop our players. We have many years of hands-on experience and the resources to make our players better.
What you will get with our 15U Indy Sharks team:
- A series of three weekend batting clinics with Bobby Bell (Astros’ minor league hitting coach).
- Pitching evaluations and instruction by Jason Taulman (former pitching coach at Butler, Marian, Ball State, and St. Joseph’s).
- 8-week arm strengthening program, which includes explosive movement, speed, and footwork training.
- Defensive development program designed by Doug Bernier (Rockies defensive coordinator).
- Indoor and outdoor team practices during the fall and winter that reinforce what is taught in the hitting clinics, defensive development program, and pitching/throwing evaluations.
- Free access to the private Sharks Fortville training facility, which includes a weight area, med-ball rack, pitching lane, four batting tunnels, and pitching machines.
- Recruiting guidance and assistance from Jason Taulman who has three decades of experience in the college recruiting world.
- Annual Indy Sharks Scout Day with Prep Baseball Report.
- A summer tournament schedule curated by Jason Taulman.
- Coaching staff with years of experience coaching at the high school and travel levels.
- A philosophy of making the team better by developing players, not by recruiting over them.
- Affordable player fees, estimated to be $2,000 to $2,500.
Jason Taulman established the Indy Sharks in 2014 as an independent, grassroots baseball club. Unlike most franchise clubs, which are business first and profit driven, Jason Taulman founded the Sharks Baseball Club for the love of the game. Because of that, it prioritizes player development with professional coaches at an affordable price. The players and teams come first before the business. This independent approach combined with high-level professional instruction and a family atmosphere are what separate the Sharks Baseball Club from most other baseball organizations in central Indiana.
Many national organizations have moved into Indiana over the past several years. This is not surprising given how much money is being made in youth sports. Some families feel like their children will be left behind if they don’t buy into the hype of national brands and the big promises they make. That fear is understandable because we all want what’s best for our kids. The Sharks, however, are a competitive option to the business driven model of youth baseball. The Sharks Baseball Club has a proven plan to give your player the opportunity to maximize his potential. Sharks alumni have played at every level of college baseball. You will get the honest truth about your player and personalized advice about recruiting if college baseball is your player’s goal.
